Welcome to the Patheon+ Quarterly Innovation Outlook.
Today, we'll review some of our key accomplishments from the first half of the year and preview the innovations we're bringing to market in the months ahead.
I'll begin with a brief introduction, followed by a recap of several achievements from Q1. From there, I'll highlight some of the major launches and feature enhancements delivered in Q2 before wrapping up with a look at what's ahead in Q3.
First, a little about me.
My name is Krutarth, and I'm a Product Manager at DRB. I've been part of the Patheon+ team for approximately two and a half years. Before joining DRB, I spent more than a decade in product management roles across various technology startups in the Pittsburgh area, focusing primarily on mobility and consumer applications.
As a reminder, Patheon+ is more than a point-of-sale system—it's a complete customer engagement platform designed to help operators run their businesses more efficiently and profitably.
The platform includes an integrated point-of-sale and wash management solution for day-to-day operations and revenue growth. It also includes a fully integrated marketing automation suite, with email and SMS capabilities that help engage customers throughout their entire journey. Additionally, Patheon+ provides loyalty and e-commerce solutions that drive sales, strengthen customer relationships, and create new conversion opportunities through digital channels. Finally, our suite of APIs enables secure integration across your operational technology stack
Q1 Highlights
Let's begin by looking back at some of the major milestones delivered during Q1.
Q1 introduced a wide range of enhancements designed to help operators run their businesses more effectively and uncover new growth opportunities.
A few notable examples include the Sales Leaderboard, which provides real-time visibility into top-performing team members. Planned Churn Reasons helps operators better understand why members leave and identify opportunities to improve retention. Semi-Attended Lane Alerts helps keep vehicles moving efficiently while enhancing the customer experience. We also introduced improvements to segment targeting, creating additional opportunities to optimize selling efforts across channels.
Major Q2 Launches
As we wrap up Q2, let's start with several major product launches.
First, FastID+, our latest license plate recognition solution, delivers a modern and cost-effective approach to vehicle identification. In addition to license plate recognition, FastID+ includes advanced vehicle detection capabilities such as make, model, color, and body type recognition.
We also introduced Personalized Promotions, equipping operators with tools to deliver hyper-personalized kiosk experiences that create more relevant interactions, strengthen customer engagement and maximize upsell opportunities.
Finally, Store and Forward adds resilience to payment processing by allowing transactions to be accepted even when a site is offline, helping ensure maximum uptime and operational continuity.
In addition to these major launches, we've delivered more than 30 enhancements focused on Patheon+'s core pillars: driving retail sales, growing memberships, reducing churn, and supporting scalable operations.
Q2 Feature Highlights: Driving Retail Revenue
With those major launches covered, let's take a closer look at some of the enhancements introduced throughout Q2.
We'll begin with features designed to help drive retail revenue through increased ticket value, incremental sales, and improved reporting capabilities.
Promotional kiosk flows can now be duplicated, making it easier to build new customer experiences using existing templates and campaigns.
We've also enhanced the Rewash Analysis Dashboard, providing deeper visibility into rewash trends and customer behavior.
Gift card purchases can now be quickly voided from the attended point-of-sale.
In addition, customers can opt into SMS marketing directly at the kiosk, joining existing opt-in opportunities available through both mobile and web applications.
Membership Growth and Retention
Next, let's look at enhancements designed to grow memberships and reduce churn.
Vehicle Association on Non-Plan Sales gives attendants quick access to a vehicle's purchase history, helping identify opportunities to convert retail customers into members
RFID tag assignment has also been streamlined, allowing staff to quickly scan and assign tags during the enrollment process.
The Insights Multi-Site Dashboard now includes additional metrics such as plans lost, reload revenue, and total revenue, providing greater visibility into performance across locations.
We've also simplified the planned termination workflow at the attended point-of-sale to improve efficiency while reducing training requirements.
Finally, operators can now add a custom QR code to sales receipts. This creates new opportunities to drive customers to digital experiences, encourage ongoing engagement, and grow email and SMS subscriber lists.
Scalability and Operational Excellence
We've also introduced several enhancements focused on scalability and operational efficiency, helping operators improve productivity while keeping costs under control.
Beginning with Insights performance improvements, we've significantly reduced load times for key dashboards such as Plan Analytics and Financial Outlook.
Operators can now send vehicles directly to the wash tunnel from an attended point-of-sale terminal, providing a valuable backup workflow if the outdoor touch terminal is unavailable.
Additionally, the Today Dashboard is now the default landing page within Insights, allowing single-site operators and site managers to immediately access their most relevant business information.
Improving the Customer Experience
To round out Q2, we've introduced several features focused on streamlining on-site workflows and improving the overall customer experience.
We now support automatic claim-check receipt printing following successful payment. Customers receiving additional vehicle services can simply exchange the claim check for their keys when their vehicle is ready for pickup.
Vehicle photos can now be captured directly using a tablet camera. These images appear in the wash queue, helping tunnel loaders identify vehicles more accurately while providing an additional safeguard against potential fraud.
We've also enhanced the card expiration workflow on the XPT by displaying additional account information, including vehicle photos and the last four digits of the payment card. This helps employees verify they are updating the correct account before completing the transaction.
Pre-sale and claim-check receipts can now be reprinted on demand from attended terminals through the Active Sales tab, making it easier to support customer requests.
Attendants can also add notes to pre-sale receipts, allowing special instructions to be communicated to tunnel loaders or aftercare teams to ensure vehicles receive the appropriate level of service.
Finally, we've introduced workflow enhancements that automatically recognize active sales created through a tablet POS or wash cashier terminal. When the customer arrives at the lane, the system can automatically queue the vehicle or initiate payment processing, helping reduce friction and improve throughput during busy periods.
Now that we've shown you some of the features we launched in Q2, it is my pleasure to preview some of the exciting innovations that we're currently working on.
Looking Ahead
Now that we've reviewed some of the innovations delivered in Q2, I'd like to preview several exciting initiatives currently in development.
One of the initiatives I'm most excited about is a major expansion of our integrated loyalty platform, creating new opportunities to increase customer lifetime value.
Another key focus area is our growing suite of labor management solutions, including a fully integrated time clock capability.
We've also made significant investments in supporting interior and aftercare service workflows, and customers can expect continued innovation in this area throughout 2026.
You'll also see meaningful enhancements to our multi-vehicle family plan capabilities, including greater flexibility around per-vehicle pricing and discount management.
In addition, we're introducing new ways to engage customers, including dynamic and highly targeted push notifications.
And finally, we're developing new tools that will help operators better measure marketing performance, providing clearer visibility into campaign ROI and overall marketing effectiveness.
