A preview of what’s coming in Q4 2026
Introduction
Welcome to the Patheon+ Quarterly Innovation Outlook.
In this session, we'll celebrate some of our key achievements from Q3 and preview several notable innovations coming soon.
I'll begin with a brief introduction, then recap several highlights from Q2. From there, I'll take a deeper look at the major launches and feature enhancements delivered in Q3 before wrapping up with a preview of what we're working on in Q4.
First, a little about me. My name is Krutarth Patel, and I'm a Product Manager at DRB. I've been part of the Patheon+ team for almost three years. Before joining DRB, I spent more than a decade in product management roles across several areas, including mobility and fleet management, business intelligence, and e-commerce.
As a reminder, Patheon+ is more than a point-of-sale system. It's a complete customer engagement platform designed to help operators run their businesses more efficiently and profitably.
The platform includes an integrated point-of-sale and wash management solution for day-to-day operations and revenue growth. It also includes a fully integrated marketing automation suite, with email and SMS capabilities that help engage customers throughout their entire journey. Additionally, Patheon+ provides loyalty and e-commerce solutions that drive sales, strengthen customer relationships, and create new conversion opportunities through digital channels. Finally, our suite of APIs enables secure integration across your operational technology stack and supports tailored customer-facing applications.
Q2 Highlights
Let's begin by looking back at some of the major milestones delivered during Q2.
Q2 included several significant launches, along with a variety of smaller features and enhancements developed in response to customer feedback.
Notable highlights included the Sales Leaderboard, which provides deeper visibility into employee sales performance across key metrics and product types; FastID+, our next-generation license plate recognition solution with advanced vehicle detection capabilities at an accessible price point; Store and Forward, which enables payment processing when a site is offline; and Personalized Promotions, which supports hyper-personalized kiosk experiences and new upsell opportunities.
We also introduced the Plan Churn Dashboard, offering a more complete view of membership attrition, as well as new receipt customization options, including customizable content, print quantities, and QR codes.
Major Q3 Launches
Continuing that momentum, Q3 introduced several new capabilities designed to strengthen aftercare and flex-service workflows from start to finish.
The Active Sales screen within the attended point of sale received a major design update, making it easier to track active vehicles and their payment, queue, and service statuses.
We also expanded integration across Patheon+, Beacon, and Catalyst, including support for prepaid products, gift cards, and additional cross-platform promotions.
In addition to these major launches, we've delivered more than 30 enhancements focused on Patheon+'s core pillars: driving retail revenue, growing memberships, reducing churn, and supporting scalable operations.
Q3 Feature Highlights: Driving Retail Revenue and Preventing Churn
With those major launches covered, let's take a closer look at some of the enhancements introduced throughout Q3.
We'll begin with tools and insights designed to drive retail growth, improve oversight, and help prevent revenue loss.
The new Risk Monitor Dashboard provides a single place to analyze refunds, voids, discounts, cancellations, plan terminations, and rewashes, helping operators identify outliers and patterns before losses add up.
A new Security Audit Report gives operators greater visibility into employee actions and helps support the investigation of potential security or fraud incidents.
We also expanded support for aftercare services such as express interior cleaning, detailing, lube, tire, and other service offerings. Enhancements include a new point-of-sale tab, claim-check generation, and flexible reporting options for tracking sales across profit centers and monitoring employee performance.
Finally, the Sales Leaderboard received additional improvements that provide more detailed insight into employee sales performance.
Membership Growth and Retention
Next, let's look at enhancements designed to attract new members, convert retail customers, and retain existing members longer.
Card-decline reasons are now available through the API, helping operators better identify patterns in involuntary churn.
The Today Dashboard now includes additional plan-performance metrics, providing a quick view into the health of a membership program.
Sites can now require customers to insert a payment card at attended terminals instead of using a digital wallet, allowing the card to be properly tokenized for future recurring charges.
We’ve also expanded Retention Offers so they can be used to save members who already have an active or pending discount, creating another opportunity to encourage long-term membership.
Finally, operators can now charge a one-time member-redemption upgrade using the payment card on file, making the upgrade process easier for both employees and customers.
Scalability and Operational Excellence
We've also introduced several enhancements focused on scalability and operational efficiency, helping operators improve productivity and support continued growth.
The new All-Sites Dashboard gives multi-site operators a single view of key performance metrics across their entire portfolio.
The kiosk status panel has been redesigned to provide more detailed information about peripheral devices, including doors and vaults, without requiring users to log in. This helps minimize unnecessary reports and support calls.
The tablet point of sale now features a more responsive interface that makes better use of available screen space and helps attendants interact with the system more easily.
We also redesigned the Active Sales tab, making it easier to understand the current status of a vehicle and complete actions such as reopening a sale, printing a receipt copy, or adding and removing vehicles from the wash queue.
In addition, the Send Roller function has been improved so vehicles do not need to move past the enter switch in situations where a vehicle may have skipped a roller.
Improving the Customer Experience
To round out Q3, we introduced several features focused on streamlining workflows and improving the overall customer experience.
Customers who request a receipt at the kiosk can now choose to have it printed or sent digitally by text message.
Pre-receipt barcodes can now be scanned at attended lane terminals to automatically queue a vehicle or process payment when the customer reaches the front of the lane. This helps streamline sales initiated through a tablet point of sale or cashier station.
Operators can now adjust the font size used for plan terms and conditions, along with formatting options such as font style, bold, underline, and italics, to improve legibility.
Finally, gift cards and prepaid codes purchased through Catalyst or sent to customers are now easily accessible through Beacon and e-commerce applications.
Looking Ahead
Now that we've reviewed some of the innovations delivered in Q3, I'd like to preview several exciting initiatives currently in development for Q4.
One of the most significant initiatives is a major expansion of our loyalty points solution. Customers will be able to earn points across online and on-site channels through purchases and key milestones, then redeem those points for rewards within the Beacon mobile application.
We're also introducing an integrated labor and time clock solution to help operators manage staff and gain deeper insight into labor efficiency.
Kiosks will support on-demand media that can guide customers through each screen or translate content into different languages.
Family plan discount configuration will include greater control over eligibility based on the number of vehicles included in the plan.
Finally, open cash periods will be visible within reports, giving operators the ability to view current cash balances.
