Solving Car Wash POS Frustrations

The Challenge

Ross McCuistion owner of the Wash ‘N Roll Carwash chain in Austin, TX was frustrated with his software POS system. He had used several software companies with disastrous results.

“When we used other software providers, there was a never-ending list of small issues that never got resolved. Most software companies claim they provide all these features, but these features always had major limitations and didn’t work like we expected them too.”

The Solution

Ross knew that DRB Tunnel Solutions had been in operation for over 25 years and was a leader in the car wash industry. He implemented DRB’s SiteWatch® POS system at his first site five years ago and has since expanded the Wash ‘N Roll chain to six attended exterior tunnel washes.

With an expanding business, Ross needed a way to monitor all his sites. SiteWatch’s Multi-Site Replication feature was instrumental in monitoring business and maintaining monthly plan records– since many of Wash ‘N Roll’s customers visit multiple locations.

Robust Sales Reporting was another feature Ross was not able to find in other POS systems. He routinely uses the SiteWatch General Sales, Monthly Plans, Site Operations, Sales Comparison, Tip Distribution, Payroll Summary and Sales Viewer reports to track all aspects of his business. Ross and his managers check into the StatWatch dashboard, either from a web browser or a phone app at least 5 times a day to keep an eye on key business statistics in real time.

Unfortunately, there is always a possibility of employee theft. Ross found that SiteWatch has great processes and all the tools necessary to catch and prevent theft.

The Results

After implementing SiteWatch, Ross was delighted with the results. Simply put, Ross said, “I need my POS software to work, DRB has been around for a long time and it just works.”
